Choosing a London Based Recruitment Agency

Choosing a London Based Recruitment Agency

Oriel Partners is a boutique PA and administrative recruitment agency based in Central London. This allows us to be easily accessible to both our candidate and client-based, as well as being well-positioned to attract the best people to work in our business.

We spend a lot of time getting to know our clients and work with them time and time again, often on an exclusive basis. Our central location allows for this relationship to develop. Before working with a new client we require a face to face meeting to ensure we can tailor the search to meet their exact requirements. No two companies are the same and being able to explore the culture and understand the brief is so important to enable a long term and successful placement. We are very proud of our reputation and repeat business and will always go the extra mile to guarantee we look after our clients and build long term partnerships with them.

A London based recruitment agency is also advantageous from a candidate’s perspective and we feel being easily accessible to our candidates base is key. Before meeting a candidate, we have a brief telephone call to do a quick assessment and ensure we can assist in their search. There is nothing more frustrating for candidates to invest time coming to register with an agency, to never hear from them again and this goes against our best practice. Being a small agency, we can’t always help everyone but job hunting can be a very daunting experience and we are fully aware of that and ready to support and guide candidates through the process. Our open and honest conversations discussing the candidate’s future career, allows us to fully understand their ambitions and objectives and enables us to advise in the best way possible.

Being located in Central London allows us to be aware of current market trends and what our client’s competition is like. Oriel Partners is not industry-specific, we work with clients across all sectors, both corporate and creative, in a business and personal capacity. Our clients range from global multinationals to small boutique firms, but working across a variety of industries allows us to see a broad picture, which allows us to advise clients and candidates with up to date and accurate information. This might be; pay increases, benefits, bonuses, seasonal differences, the best time to be recruiting, how quickly to move, contracts, candidate expectations etc.

Another advantage of being based in Central London is that we can attract the best talent to join our team, which in turn allows us to provide the best possible service. We believe our team and experience is paramount to our success. At Oriel Partners we provide a flexible working environment (all members of our team can work from home one day a week), reasonable core working hours (9am – 5.30pm), a brilliant office culture (which includes office dogs!), a supported working environment with weekly catch up meetings and a sales-free culture. We believe by not working to targets, consultants can focus more on the actual needs of their clients and building on their candidate network. We only hire senior consultants who can bring with them not only recruitment knowledge but also employment and life experience. A large part of the consultant role is guiding and advising others and we feel that this is something best acquired over time.

Our central location allows us to work quickly and often this includes sourcing temporary PA or administrative support who are often needed last-minute – time is a precious commodity. This can be to cover sickness, holidays, or purely the time between one employee leaving and another one joining. The advantage of temporary support is that they can fill a gap and handover from one candidate to the next with minimal disrupting to the client or office. At Oriel Partners we ensure that our temporary staff are the same high calibre as our permanent placements, and sourcing the right fit and skills is equally as important. After all, a temporary PA or administrative assistant will not have the luxury of time to learn the role and systems, but instead will be required to hit the ground running often with no handover, so it is vital to the successful placement that a temporary candidate is competent with the right attitude and experience to do the role.

Even if your business is based outside of London, the transport links from still make this very easy for us to assist. A lot of candidates will commute in from outside of London, so a local role can be rather appealing and with less commuting costs, the package offered can be less than what you might have to pay for a city-based role.
