A prestigious school in North London is seeking an experienced and proactive Office Manager for a temporary assignment of approximately 6 weeks. This is a key role requiring someone who can hit the ground running, maintain high levels of professionalism, and ensure smooth day-to-day administrative operations within a busy school environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the school office

  • Manage administrative systems, processes, and support staff

  • Prepare, maintain, and organise paperwork to high standards

  • Act as a point of contact for staff, parents, and external stakeholders

  • Support the leadership team in preparation for any inspections (e.g. Ofsted/ISI)

  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times

  • Ensure safeguarding and data protection protocols are followed


Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience working as an Office Manager or Senior Administrator in a school environment

  • Experience supporting school inspections is highly desirable

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities

  • Confident using school MIS systems and standard office software (e.g. MS Office)

  • Calm, discreet, and professional manner when handling sensitive information

  • A current enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) is a significant advantage
