An exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing engineering start-up, supporting the Founder at a particularly exciting stage of the company’s growth. Founded in 2024, the business sits at the intersection of engineering, technology and defence. The role is fully remote to start ASAP, and is a fantastic opportunity for a switched-on PA looking for their next exciting and unique role.
This is a new role where you’ll work closely with the Founder, providing the organisational support to allow him to focus on growing the business. No two days are likely to look exactly the same, and you'll have real visibility across the business as it develops. The initial requirement is for 4–6 weeks, but there is genuine potential for this to become a long-term opportunity for the right person.
The PA Role
This is a true all-round PA role. You’ll take ownership of the Founder’s inbox and diary, organise meetings and appointments, arrange travel and logistics across the UK and Europe, and generally make sure everything runs smoothly.
You’ll also support with day-to-day administration, including tax, expenses, invoices, documents and correspondence, as well as keeping track of actions and deadlines. There will be plenty of ad hoc requests too, so we’re looking for someone who is naturally proactive, resourceful and happy to roll up their sleeves and get things done.
The Ideal PA
We’re looking for a bright, highly organised and proactive PA who enjoys working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. You’ll need to be confident working independently, comfortable managing a busy inbox and diary, and able to use your initiative rather than waiting to be told what to do.
Candidates must have prior experience as an PA or EA to Founder. An background in engineering would be a real bonus. Candidates must be available immediately. Most importantly, you’ll be someone who is curious, capable and excited by the opportunity to work closely with a Founder building something from the ground up.
Candidates must be UK nationals and eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance.
