EA TO CEO - Software, Scale-Up

  London, City
Permanent

Up to £100,000 + 5 Days Office

This is a high-execution, externally facing Senior EA role supporting the CEO of a fast-growing, founder led business. The right candidate will be someone who delivers flawlessly, anticipates needs before they arise, and takes complete ownership of everything in their remit. 5 days office based.

Key duties for the EA

  • Complex diary management across a busy executive schedule. The CEO manages his internal meetings himself — this role is focused on external-facing coordination and ensuring his time is protected and optimised.
  • Significant and detailed travel management for the CEO and wider exec team. Complex, multi-leg, international itineraries arranged meticulously and proactively — including combining business and personal travel where required.
  • Acting as a polished, professional face of the CEO's office with clients, investors, and board members. Managing external demands with efficiency and discretion and ensuring all communications and coordination reflect the highest professional standards.
  • Pre and post preparation for client days, team sessions, and executive workshops. Working closely with front-of-house and guest services to ensure seamless execution.
  • The Senior EA will manage a team of two EAs who support the wider exec team. This requires someone who can lead, delegate effectively, and maintain a high standard of execution across the team — not just in their own work. The ability to set the tone, manage upwards and downwards, and ensure the whole function runs smoothly is essential.
  • Supporting the broader exec team with coordination, logistics, and administrative needs. Managing conflicts across schedules and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across the team.
  • Handling personal items that free up the CEO's time — including where business and personal commitments intersect, such as combining travel.

The Ideal EA

  • Pure Senior EA background (at least 4 years experience in an EA environment) — no hybrid ops, HR, or office management roles
  • Experience supporting a Founder or CEO within a high-growth environment
  • Externally-facing and highly polished — comfortable representing a CEO with clients, investors, and board
  • Prior experience managing or mentoring junior EAs or support staff
  • Obsessive attention to detail — meeting packs, briefings, and logistics must be right first time, every time
  • Proactive by nature — anticipates what's needed rather than waiting to be asked
  • Tenured and stable — minimum 2–3 years in at least one role, with a consistent career trajectory
  • Fast-moving and delivery-focused — thrives in a high-performance, founder-led environment where priorities shift and the bar is high
  • Calm under pressure and solutions-oriented — when something needs to happen, it happens

Benefits for the EA

  • 25 Days holiday + bank holiday
  • Private healthcare
  • Pension up to 5%
  • Regular socials
