An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Executive Assistant to support the Chief Operating Officer of a highly regarded independent school group. This is a varied, fast-paced role supporting the COO and Board of Trustees. Our client is looking for someone available immediately to start ASAP on a temporary basis, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Core working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm (reduced hours during school holidays)
Based full-time in Kensington school
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide proactive EA support to the COO, including complex diary, inbox and meeting management
- Coordinate Board and Trustee meetings, preparing agendas, papers, minutes and action points
- Act as a key point of contact for the COO, handling confidential enquiries with professionalism and discretion
- Support governance administration, policy administration and wider operational projects
- Liaise with senior stakeholders across the school and external contacts
- Ensure actions are followed through and deadlines are met
The Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum of two years’ experience in an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant or senior administrative role
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Excellent judgement, discretion and the confidence to maintain professional boundaries
- Strong written communication skills with experience preparing meeting papers and taking accurate minutes
- A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to think ahead and anticipate needs
- Education sector experience is beneficial but not essential
