A prestigious independent school in West London is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide dedicated support within its Central Office. This is a traditional 1:1 Executive Assistant role, suited to a capable Executive Assistant who enjoys taking ownership, working proactively and building trusted relationships across an organisation.
The successful Executive Assistant will be a warm, thoughtful and discreet individual who takes pride in providing exceptional support, can work independently, and enjoys being a positive and dependable presence within a professional environment.
The Ideal Executive Assistant Will:
- Have a minimum of two years' experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant or Senior Administrator
- Be confident managing a busy inbox, diary and competing priorities
- Demonstrate excellent discretion and professionalism when handling confidential matters
- Have superb communication skills and excellent written English
- Be happy working autonomously and using initiative
- Be comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT to support administration, meetings and documentation
- Have a positive, "can do" attitude and enjoy being supportive to those around them
- Be thoughtful, personable and happy to go the extra mile with the small touches that make a difference
- Previous experience within education is advantageous but not essential
Key Duties for the Executive Assistant:
- Providing comprehensive support to the COO, including diary, inbox and meeting management
- Coordinating Board, Trustee and Committee meetings, including papers, agendas and minutes
- Acting as a key point of contact for senior stakeholders across the school
- Supporting governance, policy administration and wider operational projects
- Maintaining confidentiality and ensuring actions are followed through to completion
Additional Details:
- Salary: £52,000
- Location: West London
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm
- School Holidays: Reduced hours of 9:00am–4:00pm
- Working Pattern: 5 days per week in the office
- Holiday: 33 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
- Pension: 10% employer contribution (5% employee contribution required)
