This role is for a bright graduate, someone who thrives whilst entertaining and communicating; it is very varied with masses of potential for growth, just a matter of choosing what to lean into! The breadth of duties is wide, aside from the event planning, for example, there is administration involved in the recruitment of overseas scientists from visas to housing and helping with the cultural adjustment. This candidate needs to learn to communicate effectively within the research team and have the ability to implement processes. The office hosts weekly student forums and less frequent but crucial fundraising events, which may need evening attendance. The successful candidate will feel comfortable dealing with UHNWI, politicians and business leaders over the phone and who often visit the office. The institute is led by the Founder who has an open-door policy and believes in behavioural intuition rather than masses of company procedures.
