A brilliant opportunity has arisen for an experienced, high performing, well presented Office Manager for a high growth, professional services firm based in a stunning building in the heart of the City of London. The role ensures the smooth, client focussed day-to-day operation of the building, high standards of safety and security, and a positive experience for all occupants. You will be based in the office 5 days a week. Great culture and benefits! 


Key Duties for the Office Manager

  • Act as the primary point of contact for visitor access to the building, ensuring appropriate sign-in processes, health and safety briefings, and effective handling of mail and parcel deliveries.
  • Maintain an emergency preparedness plan and evacuation procedures, conduct fire drills, and perform risk assessments as required.
  • Ensure the building complies with all regulations and health and safety standards
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing their concerns and ensuring their needs are met or issues are escalated in a timely manner.
  • Develop and implement a proactive preventative maintenance schedules to avoid breakdowns and extend the life of the building and its internal fixtures and other items, including the management of the office snagging list.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for services such as tradespeople, cleaning, maintenance, and repairs. This may include managing out of hours/weekend work from time to time and confirmation of services for the purpose of invoice payments.
  • Monitor and optimise energy usage to reduce costs and improve sustainability.
  • Implement and manage building technology systems such as access control and ID pass management.
  • Support the design and oversee construction and/or renovation projects within the building, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to a minimum quality standard.
  • Working closely with the HR team, support event organisation to build a positive culture, including socials, new joiner welcomes and equipment/desk set up etc.
  • Oversee the management of meeting rooms and provide support for external meetings.
  • Order, distribute, and manage general kitchen and office supplies and equipment, while leading the Clean Desk Policy and ensuring general tidiness.
