Personal Assistant to Founder AI Start-Up

  London : Dubai,
Permanent

£40,000 - £50,000

We're looking for an exceptional Personal Assistant to become the trusted right hand to the founder of a rapidly growing international business; this role requires commitment to fortnightly travelling, working alternately 2 weeks in central London, then Dubai. This is a high-impact position for someone who thrives on variety, takes ownership, and enjoys making things happen. You'll be responsible for keeping every aspect of the founder's professional and personal life running seamlessly, while also driving projects forward, representing the founder externally, and solving problems before they arise. One day you could be coordinating complex international travel, the next sourcing a specialist law firm, supporting a strategic partnership, recruiting key hires or representing the business at an important meeting.

This role is ideal for someone who has supported a founder, entrepreneur, investor, family office principal or senior executive and understands the pace, discretion and commercial awareness required to operate at that level.

Duties

  • Be the central point of coordination for the founder, managing an ever-changing diary, international travel, communications, meetings and priorities across multiple time zones.
  • Prepare briefs, oversee follow-ups, protect their time and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Take ownership of projects from start to finish. Whether identifying and evaluating advisers, sourcing talent, negotiating with suppliers, coordinating business initiatives or conducting research, you'll be trusted to work independently and deliver results.
  • Oversee the founder's personal affairs with complete discretion, managing travel, appointments, reservations, memberships, events and lifestyle logistics while anticipating needs before they arise.

As a representative of both the founder and the company, you'll attend meetings, coordinate events, build relationships with senior stakeholders and ensure every interaction reflects the highest professional standards.

Essential qualities

  • This role requires the candidate to be highly organised, resourceful and naturally proactive. You don't wait to be asked; you anticipate, solve problems and keep momentum moving.
  • An essential element is to have experience supporting a startup CEO, founder, investor, family office principal in a fast-moving environment and are comfortable balancing executive support with commercial and operational responsibilities.
  • The successful candidate will be able to communicate with confidence, build relationships effortlessly and remain calm under pressure. Whether you're negotiating a last-minute solution, coordinating multiple priorities or managing confidential matters, you bring sound judgement, discretion and absolute reliability.

This is a rare opportunity to become a genuine extension of a founder who values initiative, trust and excellence. You'll have significant autonomy, exposure to high-level decision-making, and the chance to make a tangible impact on both the founder's effectiveness and the growth of an ambitious international business.

If you're someone who loves solving problems, takes ownership without being asked and enjoys operating at the heart of a fast-growing business, we'd love to hear from you.
