We are seeking an exceptional linguist as a travelling Personal Assistant, providing dedicated private support to a highly active international Principal. Fluency in English, alongside either French or German, is essential.
This is a predominantly private support role, ideal for someone who can effortlessly manage travel arrangements, personal logistics, scheduling, communications, and day-to-day priorities with professionalism, discretion, and absolute reliability. As a trusted right hand to the Principal, you will ensure every detail is handled seamlessly behind the scenes, enabling them to focus on their personal and professional commitments. The successful candidate will be highly organised, resourceful, culturally aware, and naturally proactive, with the ability to anticipate needs, solve problems independently, and remain one step ahead in a fast-paced international environment.
The position is primarily remote, with occasional travel accompanying the Principal to engagements and events across Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex personal travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, ground transportation, itineraries, and visa requirements
- Accompany the Principal on selected trips within Europe when required
- Provide real-time language support and interpretation between German/French and English during meetings, appointments, and engagements
- Coordinate personal schedules, appointments, reservations, and diary management
- Handle private correspondence and sensitive communications with complete discretion
- Anticipate needs and proactively resolve logistical challenges
- Assist with a wide range of personal, lifestyle, administrative, and ad-hoc requests
- Act as a trusted gatekeeper and point of coordination across various personal and professional contacts
About You
- Fluent German or French, with excellent English language skills
- Based in the DACH region or French-speaking Europe
- Minimum 3 years' experience supporting a private individual, family office, UHNW/HNW principal, or senior executive
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
- Naturally discreet, trustworthy, and professional
- Comfortable managing confidential information and sensitive situations
