We are seeking an exceptional, discreet, and senior-level house manager and personal assistant to support a high-profile UHNW family with extensive business and philanthropic interests. This is a multifaceted role requiring oversight of complex private residences across the UK and internationally, alongside hands-on personal assistant duties and the day-to-day leadership of a high-performing domestic team of 25+. The role requires round-the-clock availability and discretion, with the flexibility to respond to the Principal’s needs 24/7, including weekends and holidays.


Key Duties for the House Manager/ Private PA 

  • Oversee daily operations and performance of over 25+ staff across the family residence across London and Hampshire. 
  • Recruitment, onboarding, and exit management of all household staff 
  • Staff scheduling, training, travel, holiday cover coordination, and ongoing development 
  • Ensure high service levels and household protocols across all team members
  • Day-to-day management of all properties, ensuring they are maintained to the highest standards 
  • Daily presence at the family home in London, followed by oversight of nearby properties and then attendance at the business office 
  • Oversight of maintenance, utilities, smart systems, security protocols, and vendor relationships 
  • Manage lettings across properties, from vendor liaison to tenancy coordination and property readiness. 
  • Oversee all household and property-related financial operations. 
  • This role involves working closely with two Executive Assistants, alongside line management responsibility for one Personal Assistant. 
  •  Provide PA support to the principals' immediate family, including ad hoc tasks and occasional travel arrangements, while coordinating comprehensive travel logistics for the wider family and staff—managing flights, accommodation, ground transportation, and visa documentation as needed. 
  • Run personal errands - support with art cataloguing and management 
  • Discreetly handle personal correspondence, gift sourcing, and high-level coordination tasks
  • Lead planning and delivery of private and corporate events across all residences and external venues, these are ad-hoc but often require attendance 
  • Coordinate vendors, caterers, security, logistics, and guest hospitality 
  • Ensure the property is event-ready pre- and post-occasion, with seamless guest experience

The Ideal House Manager/ Private PA 

  • Possess a rare blend of operational leadership, discretion, and emotional intelligence—capable of overseeing complex households and multiple properties with precision and care
  • Extensive experience managing multi-property households to an impeccable standard, including both domestic and international residences 
  • Deep understanding of UHNW family life, with the professionalism and sensitivity to support a principal operating at the highest level of business leadership 
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities—able to recruit, lead, and inspire large household teams across various locations 
  • Exceptionally organised and detail-driven, with a proven ability to implement effective systems and streamline operations 
  • Emotionally intelligent communicator, comfortable liaising with the principal, spouse, children, extended family, and staff with tact and discretion 
  • Family-focused, with an intuitive grasp of household rhythm, children’s schedules, family travel logistics, and milestone events 
  • Confident operating at both strategic and hands-on levels—equally at home planning property renovations or overseeing a last-minute packing list 
  • Experienced in coordinating global family and staff travel, including flights, accommodation, education logistics, and immigration requirements 
  • Financially competent in managing household budgets, processing invoices, negotiating vendor contracts, and maintaining meticulous records 
  • Composed and adaptable—able to operate gracefully in a high-performance, high-change environment with frequent last-minute demands 
  • Polished, service-oriented, and discreet, with an eye for aesthetics and presentation that reflects the family’s values and lifestyle
