We are delighted to be working with a well established, forward thinking consulting firm who are based in Central London. They work across the higher education sector and they are looking for a Consultancy Coordinator to join their Business Development team. This is not a traditional business development role! Flexible working with 1 day minimum in the office required.

The role involves working with world class academics, providing business development and process support in the growth and delivery of projects. You will be the main point of contact between clients, academics and the company.

Duties include;

- Identifying consultancy opportunities and service propositions

- Liaising with leadership to pursue potential opportunities to develop consultancy service propositions to clients

- Support academic staff in client relationship management

- Provide advice, coordination and support on proposal development

- Costing, pricing and submission

- Acting as the “go to” for all matters relating to consultancy

- Maintaining absolute confidentiality with sensitive personnel, financial and commercial information

The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and liaison skills to maintain a high level of service to all stakeholders, a strong interest/experience in the academic environment and/or research activities. This is a collaborative role, but you must be able to work independently and possess excellent MS Office skills. It is desired if candidates have existing knowledge of the national or international market for consultancy services and familiarity with costing, pricing and other commercial aspects of projects.

Working hours are Monday to Friday from 9am-5pm, flexible working is offered.
